  1. Pausing every hour or so and doing hand/wrist exercises works well, getting a massage can also help. You can find a bunch of these exercises on YouTube. If the pain persists and starts getting worse, you will need to stop gaming altogether for a couple of days, so make sure to do those exercises.
  2. Any general opinions on these brands: Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, AKG?

Depends on the model.  AT the M line is mostly garbage one is okay if you do a pad swap.  AKG K712, K612, etc are usually good.  I know there was a sought after Beyerdynamic.

Just looking for a pair of headphones for long commutes. I didn't have any specific features in mind. 😄

Considered IEMs?  But, k612s be had for around 100-120.   There are the ibasso IT-01 IEMs, but if you don't wanna spend much there are the Creative Aurvana Lives only the originals are good version 2 = bad.

  3. I just pick whoever looks better, or has the potential to look better.
  4. also isn't this a bit ironic?

It doesn't have anything to do with the definition of some word. You're implying that someone can't like savory foods because they enjoy sweets.

on a realistic note, the purple wavy hair catches my eye first, followed by the red bowtie

  6. Anyone has any recommendations for a good USB Wi-Fi adapter to temporarily use for my gaming needs?

I use this on my laptop and it works fine, but I never tried it for gaming.

@lewdicrous That one's not dual band AC...

I'd look for one rated for dual band AC, bigger usually means better antennas

  7. I don't blame you. While the name of the subforums are usually self-explanatory, most of the descriptions are really bad. You can try Troubleshooting or Networking.
  8. Kind of. They have a set of core design values they adhere to, but they do legitimately try to refresh their franchises once or twice per "console generation" (I know we're in the PC gaming subforum, I'm just using that phrase as a pseudo time unit). They've really upgraded their polishing by having extensive alpha testing phases (~1 yr), so they really are trying to push themselves and it shows. I live close to one of their studios. They are pretty cool guys.
  9. I don't even know myself.
