You can try and test the keyboard on another system (that doesn't have these drivers/programs) if you can, play the same games and see if you get the same issue. If you can't do that, then try closing all the Razer software on your PC and see if that helps.

Have you tried reinstalling the keyboard's drivers? Or maybe try using the keyboard without any Razer software (Synapse, Chroma, etc.).

Have you actually used Brown switches? All the Browns I've tried (Cherry, Outemu) felt like scratchy Reds, the bump was not noticeable during regular use. The "best" keyboard is pretty subjective, as it depends mostly on your preferences. Royal Kludge RK61 is a pretty decent entry level keyboard.

In my opinion, it's not a bad idea to go for something a little above what you need, just in case. Unless, of course, you're really tight on budget.
