hitsu1 got a reaction from DCCFan in Suggest a white case for My Little Pony themed build :D
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVOs are finally starting to appear in the wild.

I am contemplating doing a white build and that case really stood out to me. The RGB lighting in the front might give you some cool creative options to build on your theme.

Are we preparing for an epic 4 way Titan X SLI showdown between @Najuno and @JustCallMeVlad?
Two enthusiast enter, one exits.

hitsu1 got a reaction from Pandorarama in Who else has bought a GTX Titan X yet?
I got my SLI bridge directly from the Nvidia website back in January. The confirmation email had this blub,
"DR globalTech Inc. is the authorized reseller and merchant of the products and services offered within this store."
Digital River makes a lot of sense. Nvidia could have changed vendors though.

I imagine the top of that list is going to look very different shortly. I can't wait to see the liquid cooled system after seeing what you did on air with the 980s @Najuno.

hitsu1 got a reaction from VikingGaming in GeForce GTX 980 OC
Depends completely on the silicon lottery. On my reference cards I got +305 to the GPU Clock and +400 to the memory clock. I have three card in SLI so those numbers are for the lowest grade GPU I have.
Seems like you have selected a pretty conservative overclock. From what I have seen in other 980 reference cards you should have some more headroom to test so more. Are you seeing any artifacting when running your benchmarks yet?

Could this be a Nintendo box similar to the PS4 or Xbox One? A new handheld? A Nintendo smartphone?

hitsu1 reacted to Prastupok in AMD Radeon R9 290X vs nVidia GeForce GTX 970
First: There is no guarantee any card will run things maxed for the next 2 years. Futureproofing is a joke. You buy for today, only.
Second: Either card will do well with current games at those settings. The 290x is fine, as is the 970. I went with the latter because of heat and power consumption.
Whichever you get, you'll enjoy.

hitsu1 reacted to Meladath in H440 and Asus Maximas Vii Formula and i5 4690k
My friend has a h440 and R9 290X's and cools them fine. 3 980's will kick out about the same heat, although spacing will be a problem more with these than the 290X's.
1. Yes, assuming they are spaced well, or reference cards.
2. No, it's a "premium" board, they never are.
3. Unlikely, although with three.. maybe? I imagine it depends on the game you are playing too.

I really enjoy these people without a H440 and 980s in SLI commenting on that scenario. I would recommend listening to one of them.

You could do what everyone else does and pick a color and follow it with "beast" (i.e. "Red Beast," or "Blue Beast"). You can also pick an activity you do and follow it with "beast" (i.e. "Gaming Beast" or "Editing Beast"). Or you can get really creative and pick your favorite food and follow it up with "beast." Nacho Beast or Ice Cream Beast work well.

hitsu1 reacted to saya_kucing in Keyboard + Mouse for HCPC
I've seen a few tiny keyboard and touchpad combos floating around ebay.
These come in heaps of different shapes and sizes too, such as controller shapes.
If you're after a full-size keyboard and mouse, I'd go for something like the Razer Turret on the high end or alternatively something like what Logitech has to offer.

hitsu1 got a reaction from Member in Good mouse for CSGO and other FPS games
Same issue I had when I was picking mice.
If you do end up getting both, I will let you know despite coming from different companies Razer Deathadders and Minoix 7000s do play together quite nicely.
The Minoix has the better sensor. I like the feel of the Death Adder more. Synapse is a bit annoying at times though. Good luck choosing!

hitsu1 got a reaction from Snadzies in Newegg Power Supply Calculator... Don't use it.
I used the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator when doing my current build and it was pretty close to the actual pull of my system.

It overshot by about 30% but looking at some other websites out there it seems like it was pretty close.
