Computer Case for my first build.

Sportsman225
Go to solution Solved by hitsu1,

I'd go to Fractal Design and NZXT's websites and pick the case you like the best. They both come to the top of my head for minimalist, window designers.

I have been looking up parts for about a month now and I have been having a lot of trouble finding a case that I really love. Either a case I think I liked isn't very great or a case I love is much more pricey than I would like. I will link to my current build plans so you can see what I have.

PCPartPicker

For my case I would like a grated front and the power button/ usb ports/ etc on top of the case. I would also like it to have a side window. Also I would like to have a Mid size tower if possible although a Full Size tower is okay if there is nothing else available that I really like. The build will be this summer so I have a lot of time still to plan.

If anyone can help me out with this it would be much appreciated!

My Current PC: PCPartPicker I built this August of 2019. I'm loving AMD's 3rd gen Ryzen.

Is this a gaming build, or a server?

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Thanks to the power of reddit I have found something of what I would like. The more minimalist the better. Some thing like this.

The reason I have a 750w PSU is because I'm planning on getting another video card somewhere in the future. That explains the Z87 for SLI. I am also holding off on a CPU cooler. If my computer runs too hot I'll get one later down the line. Do you recommend that monitor?

Ah, if you plan on adding another GPU then get yourself a bigger PSU, yes. Also, use a Z97 board if possible.

Hmmm. Well, I might go over 750 W for two cards. 850W is safe for sure.

At first I thought this was a little much for the case I was looking for. Then I watched Linus' video on it and fell in love.
