Bitcoin has passed $800 - currently sits at $830

TopWargamer

I go by the average price :P

Latest price is the price they're currently going for though.

Bitcoins work a lot like stocks. Their price goes up and down every day. So basically, Bitcoin is an online currency that acts like a stock, while also containing everything it needs to be a currency.

Should of bought them when they were 500$ like yesterday, make a solid profit in 2 days lol

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

Brian (Swiftech Support): Hmm, have you tried slapping it?

I know how it works, I invested like $50 in it 2 years ago (nowhere near as good of a payoff as others got :/), but after no use for bitcoins after a few months I've lost touch with it. The price is just getting extreme and I can't see any need for it to grow at the moment, shouldn't it be dropping due to more people having them and less of it being spent due to the shutting down of a few 'services.'

You buy it from a trader who sells/buys bitcoins for normal currencies like gbp, usd, aud, eur, etc...

Hardly, it's already proven it's instability. Was the thread's title enough of an indication?

Damn, expect a gigantic drop soon.

That's what I'm expecting. Then there will be all the people who wished they sold their BTC when it was worth a lot.

Damn, expect a gigantic drop soon.

And once that happens, expect me to be investing quite a bit in Bitcoins. If it does crash again (which it will), it will eventually go back up. You have to play a very long and intense version of the waiting game.

NO! Tell him NOT to risk it. He should at least sell half of them now in case they crash again any time soon.

Never buy when it's high, always buy when it's low. Sell when it's high. Patience, my friend.
