For once, can we not make a GPU thread about the 970's "issue"? It's extremely old.

currently using 1 r9 290x in my gaming rig but trying to sell it so i can buy a used gtx 780ti , and i have another gaming rig not used that much with a gigabyte r9 280x in crossfire with a bios hacked hd 7950

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

I've had old radeon cards, but the most reecent real cards I have had were:

 

  1. Nvidia GT 210
  2. 6950
  3. GTX 670
  4. GTX 970

I've never SLI'ed, I want only 600W PC usage max.
