Thermaltake Core V21 Micro-ATX (Stackable)

Since I would like my next build to be a M-ATX motherboard/case I am always on a lookout for new cases in this category.
This new one from Thermaltake seems like a nice versatile design. I can imagine main machine on top and second for example FreeNAS machine at the bottom.

For a $69.99 this seems like a really good deal!

Thoughts?

Look a bit odd, I'm not a fan of the front. Though in a stack it looks freaking awesome

Would be great for server farms.

I was looking at this case before. I think it's a good value for $60-70 usd. I haven't looked into it, but I'm hoping they'll sell individual windowed side panels, as they are all swappable with each other. Windowed sides and top would look nice...

I notice the front I/O shield is in two different spots. Seems like quite a flexible case.

Oh. My. God. Now I wish I had that case, I might have to build a hackintosh for my dad in this, due to his iMac crapping out on him.

AMAZING!

YES! YES! YES!

I have waited for a stackable case that doesn't look like dung and especially one that is M-ATX, finally my server park is going to become a reality!

This is why I've been hoarding cheap Sandy and Ivy Bridge i5s from the second-hand market.

Now all I need is 12 GTX 750 Tis (for folding) and a couple more motherboards.

It even has 200mm fan intake, this literally is made as if I was designing it myself :D

(200mm fans produce lower frequency noise which isn't annoying, and when you have 6 of them it's kind of a big deal)

Edit: Why does it support 180mm rad in the front but not a 180mm fan?

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

looks really noisy

You could probably use just the front 200mm 800rpm fan. That should be quiet.

And the rest of the noise...depends on your graphic card and cpu/cooler combo...

By the looks of it you can also change the side on which the front I/O and the side window is. That's f-ing brilliant!!! :D

Might consider switching from my Node 304 to this. Looks like it supports multiple AIO rads and I love the modular design so you can set it up any way you like; vertical or horizontal, window on top or side - how ever you want. Very cool.

I hope the front has a dust filter. If not, that's a big con for me. Having 4 small dogs puts a lot of dust and fir in the air. :P

Wow, that's almost exactly what I'm looking for, at a very attractive price. Looking at their site, they have an even smaller box for Mini-ITX boards for less. I was kinda set on a Mercury S3, but this case could change that. Thanks, OP.

Does anyone know if they stack with the midi and full towers that are already in the same family line-up? The midi one has the same legs underneath. Found them by accident when I searched a price aggregator for this case.

Ditch the cheap plastic for steel/aluminium build, cut the generic blue led fans (it's not the early 2000's anymore) and make a nicer logo and I'm in. The design itself is visually appealing, though. :)

Edit: The more I learn more about this case, the more it's starting to grow on me... the clearance for CPU coolers and graphics cards is also a lot more impressive than several cases that are oversized.

Edit Edit: I now want one and am sure it'd look better in person..GG LTT

Cool, you could have two or three game server and a nas in a pretty small space.

Niiiice. I also love the mATX form factor. Love the design, the dual motherboard placement is very clever, keen to see a review from Linus or hardware canucks.

Stacking a main system and server would be cool, just wish it could accommodate more than 3x3.5 inch drives
