Cpu cooler

Hello,

Do i want static pressure fans for the hyper 212 evo?  i see that it holds 2 fans, so i want 2 fans that are really good for that cooler, that are under 20 dollars total, NOT EACH.

Thanks

I can help with programming and hardware.

Yes. Any fan thats right against an obstruction should be static pressure for optimal performance.

Static pressure is good, but push/pull isn't necessary. A single Corsair SP120 fan will cost you $20 on Newegg.

i wanted 20 for both fans, not one

I just said that push/pull isn't necessary. The cheapest fan I can find that performs well is at least $12.

I found a pack of three of the b12-2 which are the ones i want for my system.  are those going to be quieter than my stock intel lga 1150 cooler?  if one will be quieter, will two be quieter?

One will be worlds quieter, two might not be. But all you really need is one fan. You'll see a 3-5C drop in temps at the most with another fan. Not to mention it will probably be noticably louder.

I am actually doing this pretty much for sound not temperatures, so will a corsair sp120 or nb eloop 120 be noticably quiety than the fan that comes with the hyper 212

evo

NB-eLoop will be noticeably quieter (especially if you're a quiet freak like me).

But again, with two fans it will be louder.

Apparently the eLoops are $25+. but the next best is the BlackSilent Pro. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12692/fan-826/Noiseblocker_NB-BlackSilentPro_PLPS_120mm_x_25mm_Ultra_Quiet_PWM_Fan_-_600-1500_RPM_-_8-24_dBA.html?tl=c365s936b160&id=GHSv8VhR
