Best Keyboard you ever bought/used?

MuffinsOfGump

Hey everybody I looked on the forums and couldn't find a post like this so what is the best keyboard you have ever used or bought? I'm just getting started with PC gaming and mechanical keyboards so my best is the Razer Blackwidow :P hoping to change that soon though!

Answer not available at this time.

Planning to get a:

http://www.amazon.com/Max-Keyboard-Nighthawk-X9-Mechanical/dp/B00BR8GDNW/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1406762320&sr=1-1&keywords=cherry+mx+red

Though if someone knows of a good sub $100 mechanical keyboard that has red switches and a blue backlight it would be helpful!

1. MacBook Keyboard (seriously, better than a mechanical: you can type faster because of the shorter throw of the keys)

2. ThinkPad Keyboard (self explanatory: more throw than the MacBook, but still very satisfying)

3. Happy Hacking Keyboard

4. KMAC 2 with Cherry MX Blues, lubed, gold springs, soft landing pads.

I've tried a ton and owned a Filco , CM Storm rapidfire stealth and I think My K70 with reds is the best keyboard. its built like a tank and feels better than any keyboard I have ever got my hands on. I don't even use the back lighting on it I like just the awesome blackness and the metal chassis. the price on it and what you get is a no brainer. the keyboards I had that cost a lot more were not even as nice and didn't feel as good. feels amazing for gaming and typing.

I use the Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8 with brown switches. Costs a pretty bunny though. It does have 2 USB ports and a passthrough.

I'm currently using the I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK. Orange backlight, compact design, and a full number pad. Although it is membrane, I am heavy handed with my keyboards and the slim keys with relatively short travel makes it alright for $25.

I used to use an i-rocks KR-6260-BK, but I gave it to my brother. It was really bad for typing, but a complete joy to game with.

Gee this is a tough one for me... I would say my IBM Space Saver. I bought it for $5 at a yard sale, I have seen this model sell for $2,500.

My favorite mechanical is either my Ergo Dox's, KMAC-2, Das 4, or my WASD code. I really can't choose a favorite.

The only reason I really like these boards is because all the mods I did to them.

My Dox's have their unique design, 2 have ALPS switches, and they are a lifesaver if I ever need a comfortable or portable board.

My KMAC-2 has a full set of Zinc keycaps. yellow/gold Zinc for the letters and Silver/black for the modifiers.

I like my WASD code because its backlight. I did a Razer-like design and painted the backplate the same color as the LED's (yellow).

I like my Das because it is as guiet as a membrane, but feels like a mechanical. White switches (blue springs), O-rings, and a custom rubber backplate.

All the boards have modded switches.
