How many 4K monitors on 1 290X

Hi guys,

 

Atm I am running 4 X 1920*1080 monitirs but I want to upgrade to 4K now how many 4 K monitors can I connect on 1 290X?

Ha how many could you, or how many would you want to? Playing with Eyefinity over three 4k monitors on a single 290X would be painful.

You can connect 3 but what sort of performance you are looking at if you where wanting to game is a different kettle of fish.

You can connect 3 but what sort of performance you are looking at if you where wanting to game is a different kettle of fish.

Yeah I believe it is up to 6 with an MST hub, but you'll only be gaming on one monitor with one 290X

One if you're just gaming, 3 if you're just using it for productivity

man that's going to be one awesome trading machine. 6 4K screens? the amount of workspace you will have is ridiculous!

Text MIGHT be too small to see perhaps 1440p monitors would be better? unless you have superman vision

 

4x1440p displays would be DOUBLE your current screen space

It's not only trading but also twitter and stuff keep my followers alive :) so I don't need to close any window + I work with multi timeframes on my charts
