norton is an old company that has made antivirus software for a long time. I'm in general not a big fan of paid antivirus software. just get something free, that's good enough if you use it right

Norton is the worst, its overly bloated and slows down your system.

Yup, its like that ole saying, you dont go to a brothel for a kiss. Meaning if you stay out of slippery places, you will always be standing. Meaning dont go to the dark web.

that's also a way to put it.

to suggest you something else, I personally use AVG in silent mode with malwarebytes scan only without automatic startup, and comodo firewall with their services and browser uninstalled. dns 1.1.1.1 for some extra security, and trend micro in my wireless routers

Everyone has their favourites. I still use Avira Antivir, and for me it is the best.

But nowadays you can basicly only have Windows Defender on and you'd be fine.

Norton is kinda meh. never liked it.

Common sense 2019 is the way to go.

if you dont have ssd, dont try it.

it start up extremely slow, 4-5 min boot time for fresh windows. prompting (un-removable) warning and does nothing
