Cheapest SSD you can get ?

hello everyone,

 

what is the most cheap ssd you can get for 20 dollars? excluding the big brands. i want to buy ten SSDs to install in ten computers to speed them up overall.

 

so what would you advice?

I'd check out chinese retailers, like Aliexpress/Banggood and others.

Quality/capacity wise they won't be great but they'll be cheap.

yeah, but do you have any experience with any ? iam aiming at Goldenfir ssd as it has micros chips.

kingston a400 is the cheapest one i'd personally trust and use which i did in a build for family.

I would stay very far away from cheap SSDs, and specifically avoid DRAM-less ones

The Aliexpress SSD's that have capacities of 32GB and 64GB, they'll have speeds of SATA 3 hard drives.

 

The A400 would be the cheapest drive I would buy, even if it's a bit more expensive.

In daily OS/ use case not much diff between fastest and slowest sata SSD.

i'd dare put down the blanket statement that that's a bad idea overall.

there's a reason the shady brands are so much cheaper, and it aint good.

 

backing the kingston a400 here, got 3 desktops with those and they are doing amazing well worth the investment IMO.

it's a pretty fast ssd, not as fast as the high end options but its nice feels premium and reaches very respectable fast speeds...
And if you come from a hdd you will absolutely be sold and amazed.

This is the only one that is brand new in the price range you're looking for. If you don't mind buying used ones, there's a few more options that are much cheaper but they're not 256GB. They're around 60GB-100GB.

This is the only one that is brand new in the price range you're looking for. If you don't mind buying used ones, there's a few more options but they're not 256GB.

Now the compatibility side of things you would have to figure out for yourself as I don't have a clue of what you'll be putting these into.

 

You might find maybe a couple other similar deals like these on eBay but I've basically listed your best bets that fit your price and in the range of getting 10 SSD's. Anything else is basically looking for more or less than 10 or a long shot because they don't have best offers on their listings. I also tried to list around 100% multiple feedback sellers. It's always best to deal with them first to insure you will be getting what you pay for. Also, always make sure to communicate with a seller before doing business with them. Now you don't have to but it helps out a lot when you do. You'd be surprised what kind of deals you can get by communicating with people on eBay. I find that keeping everything honest and upfront nets you the best results. Never beat around the bush and never use haggling tactics.
