Why should I buy now?

 

Newegg offers their price point protection on all the items they sell. If you buy anything on their website and it goes for cheaper later this month, they will refund you the difference. Note this is only for newegg products, so if Amazon has it for cheaper two weeks from now, this doesnt cover you.

 

There's a few cool deals in here (mainly memory and monitors. ALLITERATIONS!!!) but nothing blistering hot. For me I'm eyeing the $500 Acer Predator 1440p 144hz Gsync IPS monitor.

That 32GB Trident Z RGB kit is very tempting even though I know I don't need it. FYI, according to PCPP, that is the lowest price for that particular kit.

Forgot to mention to use PCPP to always verify you're getting the best deal, both from newegg and other retailers. Also always double check the product in google. Sometimes PCPP has old listings or none for retailers that actually have them (you can always request they get added, but it still takes a day or two for them to appear usually)

Pretty good pricing policy, can't really lose with that. Though, it means you can't use whatever you buy for a few weeks.

Sick prices on RAM kits. I laugh at those who told me that RAM wouldn't drop much lower than it already was, or that Z390 boards wouldn't see discounts.

You should. RAM used to be in the $65 range more than two years ago for 16GB DDR4....even 18 months ago it was under $100. That, and SSD storage are falling in price which is very good

Agreed. I think next year will be an excellent year for PC stuff. Plus I can't wait to see what AMD does with Zen 2.

Not really. That doesn't have much to do with Zen 2's performance, and prices are still dropping lower than they were before, which is still a win.

That's what I was referring to. Prices will rise even for products that would otherwise not be affected, because "why not, everyone else is doing it"

Not due to tariffs; they're already in place. Plus I don't really care about slight increases here and there. The government will change, as will the tariffs.

As far as I've understood stuff goes down with 2019. Hope you're right. Though i'm glad my build will stick kick ass even in 3-4 years.
