What games should LTT use to benchmark?

What games do you think they should use to benchmark their systems with?

I mean games that can separately stress CPU/GPU/RAM. For example Battlefield can destroy your CPU and eat all of your RAM, Witcher 3 can take a piss even on high end cards while only using 10-15% of your CPU. Thats why I don't like seeing benchmarks. Youtubers test CPUs in games that don't require much CPU power and give it a green light, and people immediately think that CPU in question can handle all other games, and get very upset when their newly built rig cannot handle BF1 multiplayers because 4 core CPU can't handle multiplayer .

I would be surprised if a 3770K wouldn't be able to handle Battlefield 1 multiplayer.

4c/8t will do, but even new 6c/6t i5s struggle in multiplayers, you can forget 4c/4t i5s.

I thought the reason reviewer use imba op processor to test GPU is to almost remove CPU bottleneck?

Most of the games in benchmarks are not relevant. I had never heard of shadow of mordor before watching a 980 ti review, and I have never seen Rainbow six siege in a benchmark. RSS is a game that a lot of people play. Shadow of mordor is more of a niche game. Just cause the game is graphically demanding, does not mean it is a good game to run as a benchmark. Yes, it probably does a better job of showing the performance of the card, but every game has variances in how it uses the GPU, so that makes it hard to base how a game runs in PUBG off of a DOOM benchmark

X-Plane 11. 

I know it’s not a COD or Tomb Raider but it taxes both CPU and GPU intensely. 

Load a high res plane and fly over a big city, that’ll produce a great hardware benchmark. 

 

Might even get more more people into flight sim’s ha ha!

Not that it's super hard on ya pc, quite the opposite in fact. It's very well optimized but they even wrote their own particle physics and I would just like to see my favourite game benchmarked honestly
