The videos are the source And I think I can trust the Linus Media Group to investigate if this is as severe or not. But if true Explains the Adpocalypse a whole lot better.

I don't think its the exploit that's making him lose viewership. Couldn't get past 3 minutes #snoozeFest #needATLDW #bringHashtagsToLTT

TL;DR: Anyone can mark any video on YT as some kind of ad to their playlist or something and retitle the video for it. Some people harm others with this by naming some gaming video as "How to get a free GTA V" or something like that and then masses of people click that in hopes of getting a free game, watch 20 seconds of the video and quit. This then causes a lot of short views to the original video and because YTs algorithms are BS they deem the original video bad and stop featuring it with similar videos and this then costs the original maker a ton of watches. YT also doesn't do anything to stop this even though when someone marks video as ad YT has some check but it only blocks people from naming videos with bad words.
