This is why I think it should be colored text/circle on a white background.
sure. it looks nice like this on a dark youtube theme :

yeah, I like the Tide logo, at first the one with so many colours I didn't even realize it said LTT, just thought it was random colours. The Tide one is easily understandable.

I'm actually really liking these logos. Once you remove the overlapping lines in the current logo (and that purple) they logos look a lot cleaner and less 'confused'.
Either of those styles the white background+coloured text, or the coloured background+white text both look good, and I would just experiment with how each look when they're up against the youtube/twitter/facebook/etc backgrounds and see which one works the best.

New logo SUCKS ASS. Banner is ok, not bad, not good.

 

They should make their logo look like they are a computer company (nvidia, IBM, Intel, etc)

This. It really is important to see logo in context. Just like it is to see written article printed to see how layout looks on paper. The main reason why I voiced complain about previous edit was how it looked on mobile or in FB. Small, colored mess isn't good.

Out of all the logos so far, I think this suits the LTT style the most. Dare I say I actually rather like it!

I personally want to like it, it just reminds me of something you'd get as an artist's cover for remixes etc.

Yeah, I don't know why they're insisting on that weird selection of colours. Simple orange would suffice, but it's a lot better now anyway.

Orange would, but I quite like the blend of colours.  For example, I immediately loved the new channel art.

I think since TechLinked they've been heading towards this since it feels a lot closer to TechLinked colour wise.

 

I hazard a guess that they're eventually going to get consistent branding for all channels, this is just the start of a makeover.

 

Next change:  Let's make the background of our forum RGB!!!!!!!

The lettering looks great, but I still don't like the purple in the background. 

The ones with the same letting that edzel and another user posted in the other thread with a more simple (and less distracting) orange background looked better in my opinion

I really like that bottom one. It's the fact that the hexagons just randomly stop on the top that puts me off. If there was a line or something going around the hexagons then it would look a lot better. But tbh, without the hexagons it's a lot cleaner

or like. larger lines wih less small variations ?
(instead of 5 lines with like 7 colors in the gradients. perhaps 3 with 4-5 ?)

regardless, I think its still just a bit too cluttered with all the colors in the background. the gradient was better, with some tweaking.
