Need a USB Flash Drive for making a Windows 10 installation media drive

MakeYourLifeTechy

I am really attached to Windows nowadays. I am always naturally a software enthusiast. Now I want to create a boot drive for Windows 10. Can you guys recommend some USB flash drives that are ideal to be called boot drives? I will only be downloading the Windows 10 installation media tool so please recommend as you think will be fine.

I am just going to install windows onto a pc.

Just use the cheapest 8GB or more USB stick. No reason to grab a larger one

I recommend at least a 16GB flash drive. That way you will have extra space on the flash drive for a folder to hold software/drivers installs that you need, after doing a clean install of windows. I do that with my 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive.

If you are just going to use it for that odd time you'll install Windows, just get anything 8GB of more.

If you want speed, and use it for other things, and use it many times, then get yourself a nice and fast USB Flash Drive. If you are going that route, check reviews, and don't assume that a USB 3.0 flash drive will get you any speed that comes close to USB 2.0 max speed. Check reviews to know.
