The only way I would place a manufacturer's sticker on my computer (or anything else) would be if the manufacturer paid me for their advertising. I rarely do free advertising. I've been known to remove or hide manufacturer logos.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!

Yeah I don't see a point... When I'm looking at my computer I know what cpu is in it... And no cpu is that great to use one on a nice looking case for what buddies to see or something. If it were something rare af like a threadripper two I still wouldn't. Yeah I know tr 2 isn't out yet just a example. Each their own but a deal breaker over a sticker is humorous.

And how far does that "hiding" go? I mean, there are parts of your PC where it is kind of hard to hide logos: side of graphics card, middle/on the bearing of fans, logo on motherboard etc.

I agree that - like you - I too like to have components without any logos or writing on them, but I'm not actively hiding them if they do are present.

I'm hiding most of the logos on my Corsair PSU in the computer I'm building by enclosing the entire PSU. I covered the Chromax logos on the Noctua NH-D15s cooler covers by putting label tape over them with the name of the build on them.
