Cheaper than the solid side panel version!!!! Ends Saturday I'm not sure. It's now Monday and it's still on sale, with no exact "end by date"  July 20th according to Fractal's Instagram post posted 5 minutes ago

Fans and PCI slots are white in the black version while it's all black in the blackout ver.

I dont know why, but it;'s still on sale. It seems indefinitely, or at least for an undetermined amount of time.

Possible it's just a price correction by Newegg. The Define R6 doesn't really offer anything the Define C TG doesn't for $50 less (at normal prices)

It's definitely noit a price correction, it's definitely a sale and wont be permanent.

+Included Fan Controller

 

The last one most likely isnt a deal breaker for most people, but the other 4 are very definitive differences for people who need/want it. Yes those people fall on the higher end of the budget spectrum, but it's hard to say for $50 it doesnt offer anything more.

A lot

 

Specifically from R5 to R6

 

  • PSU basement (and PSU installer bracket)
  • Tempered Glass
  • Vertical GPU mount (water cooled only)
  • Removed one 5.25" bay
  • Added two possible HDD slots (new total 10)
  • Moduvent storage plate can shift places for an Open case configuration, can still hold 2 3.5" HHD's on the back of it.
  • Added Fill Port to the top of the case
  • Smart Hub Fan controller

They kept 360mm front and 360/420mm rad support for both the front and top respectively the sound dampening foam and reversible door.
