Yup, it will work nicely

Hi guys! Will Chieftec Smart 700W fit in Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 3.1 and will it work with GIGABYTE B360M DS3H? And is Chieftec Smart 700W a good psu?

Will it fit? Yes

Is it good? If you want to burn down your house, yes.

PLEASE get something else. A corsair CX or CXM is the minimum i would get. EVGA has also some decent options, i think.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

It's not a good PSU, it's bottom of the barrel - group regulated CWT GPM platform with transient response problems. You shouldn't use it with any modern PC.

It's impossible for us to suggest anything better without knowing the setup.

If i learned anything in pc building, it's that you never save money on the PSU. If you are on a tight budget and a good quality PSU is 20$/€ over ur budget, spend that extra money...

@samcool55 Notice me Senpai~

Anyway @bolyai It will fit but like Samcool said prior you would be better off going with a Corsair CX or CXM or even EVGA than that. I'm using a CiT 700w PSU which my friend said was tempermental and I am literally watching that thing like a hawk to hear one odd noise or something odd happen on my screen.

Sorry Had to do that due to your Signature.

PLEASE buy a good psu. you don't want to make my mistake.

i ran a Core 2 Quad system for a while with a really cheap crappy psu, when it broke, it took the board and possibly cpu and ram with it.. also an audio interface connected to the pc.

Do not buy some random brand, or atleast a brand that hasen’t been much heard of power supply. If you are using a 700w psu I would think that you have some expensive components that you do not want to kill and burn. Of course it will fit, it will work(Not guaranteed) But it also could kill your components. My best suggestion for a 700w psu would be: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139216&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Power+Supplies-_-N82E16817139216&gclid=Cj0KCQjwre_XBRDVARIsAPf7zZg5aUkJw-NqfroK-Zv6i7suNYsBHm9LdXRstR-T4qylmH9j64fck9caAi5AEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

@bolyai That PSU is good, but what system do you have? 650W might be a bit too much.

@samcool55 I will have a GIGABYTE B360M DS3H Intel Core i3-8350K Quad-Core 4GHz LGA1151 (with this cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock 120mm), MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4 2400MHz. And m.2 ssd and hdd.

And also will that motherboard work with the processor?

Swap the CPU for an 8400 since the motherboard cannot overclock. It will work though.

You can also drop down to a 450 watt PSU and still have plenty of headroom.

Yah, even with a 1060 6GB you'll still have about 100 to 150 watts of headroom.
