this entire thing seems fishy? why did none of you and your friends report him to police? why not report him to the police when things happen? why did you "shrug off sexual comments" when he first started making them? why did you engage in a relationship with him if you knew it was both illegal and inappropriate?

Currently reading through the DMs in the video she posted and to me it seems like a normal conversation. Maybe I haven't gotten to the serious stuff yet, but in the DMs I have seen she is asking him for help installing the tumblr app, asking him to play OW with her, and so on. She is also asking him to buy stuff for her. Again, I have just started looking into this but to me it seems like she baited him and then decided to ruin his life.

 

I really want to stress that I have only read through the messages in the video which is probably just a very very small part of their conversations, but with how common things like false rape allegations has become, I think people should take these kinds of things with a healthy dose of skepticism and not react by shouting about how he should be castrated or put in jail before we have a firm understanding of the situation.

Two things to take into consideration.

1) She is leaving messages out and cherry picking what to show and what not to show. I am not saying that excuses anything, but please bear in mind we only have one side of the story, and we should wait for the other one with an unbiased view.

 

2) So far I haven't seen anything really bad in there, except that one handjob comment (where we can't see what lead up to that comment, considering he commented that his hands are soft, I assume she sent him a picture of some really wrinkly/hard/cracked hands or something).

Some weird texts? Yes absolutely, but to me he seems like a lonely loser who just wants someone to chat with, not a pedo. He mentions several times he wants friends and that he don't have any.

 

I mean, the inappropriate stuff are mostly things like saying he got ass-raped in game when he played.

I can't believe that this guy was dumb enough to do something so stupid and gross. I mean he even made it very easy for them to gather evidence against him so he is probably super screwed. developing feelings for him. However, after she knew he was chatting with other girls, she thought "fck it, i'm gonna report him as a revenge"

So..yes, a person can be that stupid to take the jailbait and that girl might laugh her ass and both of her tits (if she even has tits) off.

Yeah, after looking into it more, it does seem like it ended up as bait in the end, she put the rod out with a little bit of bait and he went right for it. Doesn't excuse his actions, doesn't excuse hers. But if this gets taken to court, Judge / Jury will probably side with the girl.

If it is indeed bait, its still illegal, but the way "revenge" anything and the laws behind them have been getting more serious. She wont be laughing for long.

Yes, it is indeed still illegal, no question about that. However, how won't she be laughing for long? she's still too young and the authorities highly likely

Over the past year any type of revenge be it revenge porn or baiting like this has been cracked down on. She might be only 14 but based on the texts, she is mature enough to know what she is doing. If this does go to court and he is found innocent (for whatever reason) his life is fucked forever and there is nothing you can do to fix it. If 12 year old can go to juvy, juvi?, juvee? (however the hell is that abbreviated haha) then she can go too.
