I sure hope Nvidia isn't going to take advantage of the current GPU pricing and make their new series stupidly expensive. Then again, this is Nvidia we're talking about, so they probably will.

well...i have my 1180$ ready for the GTX 1180...

not sure, if they do the GTX 2080 for 2080$ then i might be out...

damn idek if i'd pay that much for the 1180ti... 1 grand is the limit I think, at least for consumer cards. titan and up maybe they can push over, but over a grand for a consumer GPU is a reasonable ceiling, I think.

right now they are showing live rendering of a star wars thing...usually when they start showing live rendering then it means they DO have a new graphics chip ready...i Can't wait for the reveal

 

About pricing, it'll depend on performance...if it's say 15-20% faster than the 1080ti...then it would be a decent upgrade to my GTX 1080...

I told myself I wasn't allowed to upgrade from my 980s until HBM hit consumer GPUs on Nvidia. So if they don't have em I'll be happy and pissed at the same time
save money but no upgrades

Thats why I said "games" but still there are quite a lot of high quality indie games.

Still weird to state such a low number. Just would like to know where they got that number from.
