399$K is a good price but i think i will wait one more year because i think next year they will have DGX3 and it will probably be 20 or 30 times faster for the same price

I'm waiting for the year after that where DGX4 will be 20-30 times faster than GDX3 and the same price.

AMD and Nvidia both make great cards, my RX 470 plays a lot of games at 1080p very nicely. Doom, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Just Cause 3, Fallout 4, GTA V.

 

AMD wanted to revisit the Fury cards and try to fix them with Vega. Navi, I think will be where it'll be at.

About pricing, it'll depend on performance...if it's say 15-20% faster than the 1080ti...then it would be a decent upgrade to my GTX 1080...

AMD needs some magical Radeon product that'll come and crush the current GeForce line. It'll be good for everybody since there will be more choice and it'll be good for nVidia fans because it'll make them stop being lazy.

DGX-2 is twice as fast, not 10 times. It is also 2.6 times more expensive. So even worse perf/price than the old one.

 

The 10x nVidia quoted is one specific neural net training test that was ram limited in the old case. So the 10x is the result of the huge amount of ram in the new system, not applicable to most problems unless you were ram limited with the old system.

I didn't mean to be too serious. But I was very disappointed in the results today (so were other stock holders haha).

 

They have a problem right now with all their products getting more and more expensive. I feel like TSMC is the real reason why video cards are getting better, and nVidia isn't helping any
