Welp time to decide on a new middle drive shaft. I hate two piece drive shafts. I ripped the carrier bearing out of the crossmember on the truck while hammering on it to get around a smart car doing 50 in a 75.

 

ugh I hate smart cars.

Oh and I forgot to mention. My sisters Honda with the rebuilt engine is puking oil out of the headgasket. Gonna have to do that at some point. Funny because the old motor did the same thing.

Going to call a local drag racing shop that specializes in rear axles to see if they can sort my car out tomorrow.

Congrats man. If it wasn't for the axle i'd probably be saying the same. 

Just make sure to find good gear to go with the bike.

Isn't that the reason to get one. So much harder to freeze in a car.

I know my dad's jacket doesn't have it, so he has almost like a motocross style separate one.

I'd prefer it to be integral to the jacket though.

Finding gear is a full day thing too. Last time i was out buying motocross gear it took a few hours xD 

Only reason motocross gear is separate is because that makes the shirts easier to wash. 

Regular track stuff is alright. Enduro will leave you with mud in places where mud shouldn't be.

So its nice to just be able to throw off the gear and hose it down

Eh, I don't really like shopping, even for stuff like this.

But I think I can manage getting gear and hopefully a bike before 5.6 when my summer holiday starts.

Well, right now nothing in particular, which doesn't really help.

I'm not too fond of really sporty bikes like the yamaha r6 for example. The riding position is a bit sucky, and I'm not in it for just speed.

Yeah i'm not a fan of that riding position either. Which is why i like most café racers. Its a good middle ground.

I did notice that Yamaha has some new models, which I really like the look of.

The XSR700 for example. Being new, they have a non-existent used market though.
