Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Contacted the seller one ebay for this engine. He worked with me, got a compression test done and everything.

Sure glad I asked... 63k miles and already that low compression? sheesh. The car was in immaculate condition before the accident from the pics he sent, and had just been rear ended... And it was an automatic!

with all the new parts on my car and it being an SE? no thanks...

Next to the mazdaspeed miata...(which has many downsides... it was terribly implemented according to the forums...) mine is the most desirable and valuable one. It was the last one with the good engine, the torsen, and the sporty bits, and it was a great color combo unlike the bright yellow SE. They only made a little over 1000 of mine....

tfw 3.5gb... though I bought the 970 before bloat, and when I intended to stay with 1080p. Now at 1440p it pegs out pretty fast.

And DX12 was supposed to save us from vram bloat LUL.

the tune was really terrible. and the crazy short gearing with the 6 speed is not exactly ideal...

Sounds like a bad roller on a lifter, but really hard to tell. I wouldn't run it anymore aside to get it to a shop.
