WHY, just WHY?!

You have 250€+ for the CPU, 500€+ for the graphics card and use an almost 10 year old PSU?!

As said, get an SSD first and then a great power supply that fits your system like Corsair RMx...

What is a ssd?

Waste money for speed

1tb ssd is for 300$ too costly.

Ssd is good for windows + gaming.

I cannot buy only for windows.

seasonic psu is best ask anyone.

Get a 250-512GB one for the most used things.

The HDD Can still be used for not much used stuff...

Oh dear oh dear...

That's just wrong and not true.

There are others better, especially in the mid range Bronze are - well, almost everybody right now to be precise...

It's not great in 2018. It's an older group-regulated unit that lacks a lot of modern protections. Stefan's suggestion of an RMx is a good one, but honestly, not as urgent, IMO, as getting an SSD.

You don't need to replace your hard drive, just have a 250 GB SSD for your OS and main programs and put games and pictures/music/documents, etc on the hard drive. An SSD is an absolute must-have in this day and age. No more defragging your C drive and you have everything important to you on your hard drive in the event you need to reinstall Windows. You also have a speed demon of a system.

Trust me, get an SSD, install Windows and your most used non-game programs on it and you will never go back. I don't even have a spinning disk drive in my system anymore and have no regrets.

SSDs can make any old system snappy (of course up to a certain point)

Just buy a cheap 240-275GB one for about $80 and you'll be good for Windows and many essential applications

BS. While the PRIME is one of the best PSUs, they have really neglected the mid-range market by running on Valve time for their "CORE" lineup. The S12II is a platform facing 10 years of age with missing protections and being group regulated at the same price as many DC-DC units. Read this for more info:

I recommend this case

Once you've done that get an ssd for God's sake, it makes everything so much snappier.

I don't...

No, because a case is mostly an optical piece that doesn't add anything to the functionality of a PC.

While an SSD does add something to the PC itself...

So no, he should NOT buy a Case and get an SSD first, install Windows (and most used shit) on it, before thinking about a case...

A shitty case might be annoying and you might cut yourself with it, but if you don't use the side panels, there

While the picture of the case shown look kinda cheap, its not total garbage and something you can live with for a while.

There is no need to replace the Case right now, other things are more important!

PS: And I'm saying that as someone who has mostly Higher end cases like CM Storm Trooper, Silverstone Raven 01, Nanoxia Deep Silence 5B, be quiet Silent Base 600 and Dark Base PRO 900 as well as a rather shitty Anidees AI6 V2, Antec Titan 650W...

I've also used a couple of cheaper cases and sometimes even no case at all...

@Stefan Payne

OP made a post about cases, I gave a case recommendation.  Personally, while I find ssds add a lot to any system and are nearly invaluable for most production workloads they aren't necessary.  I used a 7200rpm hdd for several months because I was too lazy to swap in my 850 pro.  The only reason I have a 1tb sad right now is because of how much I dislike hdd vibrations.  If they don't want an ssd then fine, leave them be and give a case recomendation

I second this case. Especially since it's on sale right now. Very good case for the money
