buying gtx 1080 and selling 1070

I won an auction on eBay for a GTX 1080 for £490. I have a GTX 1070 which I believe will sell for around 400 - 500 after getting the 1080. I would rather not pay the money through my bank account, but rather borrow the money from someone and pay it back once i sell my 1070.

 

Does any one know a easy service that will do this?

So, let me get this straight; You have the money in your bank account.  Meaning you could BORROW THE MONEY FROM YOURSELF.  But you would prefer it if a TOTAL STRANGER gave you money as a loan to pay for it because... Reasons?

Keeping in mind that PayPal's consumer protection procedures have nothing about protecting those who LOAN money.  So if you run off the lender could likely have no recourse.

The other question is why you upgraded from a 1070 to a 1080? The difference in performance isn't all that amazing.

This plan sounds needlessly over complicated.

 

Why would you not just simply pay for the auction with your own money?

I changed my mind and i did. 1070 to 1080 will help me get a consistant 144fps in games which i am not getting with 1070. I found it on ebay for 490 so why not

Fair enough. As long as you can sell your 1070 and recoup most of that, and the 1080 you got was a good one in good condition, then sure - not a bad deal. Let us know how both of that goes.

I will and it looked like it was in pretty good condition
