What can I do better with this build?

ekkelekkekt

This is my build. My budget is around $3,250 but I can go a little over if I need/want. Already have the mouse and keyboard. The build will be used for productivity and gaming

Ps:

Choose the monitor because I didn't know what to choose. If anyone have a tip to another, that is better, that would be much appreciated!!

Get a smaller screen. AT 49" inches that couch gaming territory. Sitting that close to a large screen TV, you'll be blind as a bat way before you reach the middle ages. 24 to 27" 30" max.

Intel Xeon E5 1650 v3 @ 3.5GHz 6C:12T / CM212 Evo / Asus X99 Deluxe / 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3000 Trident-Z / Samsung 850 Pro 256GB / Intel 335 240GB / WD Red 2 & 3TB / Antec 850w / RTX 2070 / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy X360 15: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.6GHz 4C:8T / 8GB DDR4 / Intel UHD620 + Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB / Intel 120GB SSD / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy x360 BP series Intel 8th gen

AMD ThreadRipper 2!

5820K & 6800K 3-way SLI mobo support list

A 49" monitor... are you trying to open a door to the future..

Having multiple smaller ones would be better in my opinion, but that all depends on what you want to do and the distance between you and the monitor

its all preference 40 inch 4k screens are nice to me. same desity as 20" 1080p but 4 of them no bezels.

I use a 28 inch 4k and 43 inch 4k for my set up. i understand some dislike this Size though.

Please post a study showing you go blind looking at  a large screen vs a small one. i Really dont believe this is true

Yes 42 iphone 8+ screens glued together in a rectangular grid, is better than a single 30" monitor.

Hell yeah, with duct tape to all those the back of all those iPhones, can make a bendable display, like 360 degrees! Something a single large monitor can't do.

When reading a review about a 43", it said that the screen was to tall for the reviewer to feel comfortable looking at the top of the display. Is this your experience too?

Not yet anyways.. I only broke two monitors while trying to make a homemade VR headset which is a good thing in my book.

As the saying goes, you can't make an egg without breaking a few omelets first.

Those that's been sitting too close will eventually have to wear glasses. Depending on how bad it gets over time, the stronger the glasses need to be in order for them to see, take those glasses off and they can't see anything, it's just a blur. This is why there is a old saying, where parents will tell their kids not to sit to close to a TV.

Go to  a electronic retail store like Best Buy and stand very close to their large screen TVs. You will immediately get a sense of what it's going to feel like when you're using a screen that big, that's sitting very close to you.

It's like going into a movie theater, when you sit in the very front row, the movie experience isn't the best due to the massive size of the screen, so that's why most would prefer to sit some where further back.

The Thing with Old Sayings is SO many are Not true and or based on facts that have nothing to do with today's world or products. but people like to spew them out without any understanding just because someone once told them that.

Honestly yes the top of the monitor can at times be more difficult to see with 43 inches. I only have a 24 inch depth desk though so im very close to it. if i had a 32-36 inch one i dont think this would be a problem. I Personally would say go for 40 inches over 43. PPI is slightly better and helps with the height problem somewhat.  I think a Monitor 4k at 38 inches or about would be the perfect size not that any exist.

Though the Silly part about people saying its too big a lot of them then recommend 2 24 inch or 27 inch monitors.  and that is decently wider then a 40 inch and you have to turn your head more to see it then the  40 inch.  2 27 inch monitors will be wider then a 55 inch TV.

The big positive to Some smaller monitors is the High refresh rates. a 1440p 27 inch 144hz is sort of the middle ground for everything and very well rounded

You get 144hz which  4k is stuck at 60hz typically.

You get 1440p wich is better then 1080p but still not close to 4k

27 inches is a decent size.  but not too big or small.

anyway build looks nice  little expensive for my tastes but Thats not really a negative. Pcs also are a little more then ussualy now with high GPU Ram and SSD pricing.
