FloRolf's Christmas Game Giveaway with over $100 in prizes!

Hello LTT Community!

The year is coming to an end and I hope everyone here had a great one and is looking forward to 2018!

I certainly had an amazing year where pretty much everything went right.
Because of that I wanna share some of my good mood for this year with a little game giveaway!

So how do you enter?

1. Have at least 1000 Posts on LTT Forums until the giveaway ends.

2. Post a picture of the oldest CPU you have with a paper of your LTT-name next to it and state the model number in the comment.
(Also valid are CPU-Z Screenshots with your name in the Editor or Photos of the CPU Box with your name next to it.)

3. List the following games in the order you want them.

4. Have a Steam account

What can you win?

1.     A copy of Rainbowsix Siege SE

2.     A copy of Quantum Break

3.     A copy of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

4.    The special price of a copy of Human Fall

Flat for the oldest entered CPU.

You DO NOT need the oldest CPU to win! A brand new i7 8700k or even a dead CPU give you the same chance to win one of the main prizes.

The oldest CPU just gets you the bonus of Human Fall Flat directly and the older your CPU the higher your priority when the 3 winners have the same order of games listed.

I'll raffle the winners with Googles Random Number Generator so everyone has a fair chance.

The giveaway is open until Monday the first January 2018 at 8pm GMT+1/CET

So that's it, good luck to everyone and even more important, have a great Christmas with your friends and family!

Feel free to share this post for everyone so more people have a chance to win.

- Flo

Well true.

In that case just show a picture of it, as it doesn't come in many variations like nowadays. Pretty much any CPU/Computer looks the same today so the picture of a case doesn't count, but commodore/similar is kinda unique.

The only reason I'm outta this one is because I don't have a steam account or really need steam for anything. Bit too old school for that.

When your room has shitty lighting and your phone doesn't have a "flash" so you need to use a flashlight...

sUWYcQK.jpg

It should be an Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 going by the "SLGJ4" part number and the fact it says "t6400" on the CPU itself.

http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/SL/SLGJ4.html

(and yes my writing is terrible, even I'm not sure what's going on with that E)

I should have some older CPUs somewhere... but honestly I can't be arsed to dig them up. I found that one in a box alongside a bunch of CR2032 batteries and DDR1 memories, it only has 1 slightly bent pins, which is surprising considering how badly I'm storing it... I guess pins where just that much stronger back then.

1-Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

2-Quantum Break

3-Rainbowsix Siege

oh man, mine is really dope! this is AWESOME! (and i also found out i am a complete retard)

So here is an AMD K6 450MHz 2.1V chip out of a laptop, chip made in 98, came with windows 98 and laptop was made in 98 and bought in 98 and also my Slot 1 P3 600EB:

20171223_001120.thumb.jpg.429cd50d7f837036ca68b686ff92345b.jpg

but the REALLY strange and cool part to me, was digging apart the laptop that K6 was in and finding THIS:

20171222_234326.thumb.jpg.f28e99f8e5936477dfa466699fedec7d.jpg

thats a metal foil, i think either tin or aluminium, thats covered on one side in resin and the other something a bit reminisant of a thermal pad or something. i have NEVER seen anything like this! this is SO COOL!

so my oldest chip is from 98 now, and its humongus, is one of those chips that use a ceramic and the pins are just by far the biggest and furthest spread i have ever seen with my own eyes. crazy stuff, love it!

i want the games in this order:

R6S

Borderlands

quantum

bananasplit_00 on Steam, the one with over 100 games and almost 1000h of Paladins :P

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

i have around 25 chips in my collection, almost all of them are Pentium 4s, but i do have a few laptop chips i havent botherd to identify with pretty large dies that are probably C2Ds, most of them are P4s from around 01-06 though, pentium 4s were in literally everything in that time period because Intel cash :P

Sound for the giveaway man. Pretty cool.

This the oldest chip I have, got it when my school was replacing it’s PCs. It’d probably be pretty cheap to get a mobo and ram for it and play around. What’s your oldest chip?

For th giveaway; 1, quantum (seems like a pretty neato game) 2, boarderlands 3, rb6

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
