can cracked games run worse than legit copies?

I recently got ghost recon wildlands cracked from kaoskrew, and I've noticed that it runs like absolute crap even when I lower it down from optimised settings. I played other cracked games like just cause 3, and they seemed to run fine. So maybe I should look for a crack from someone else?

Well... piracy is against terms of service in this forum, but it should not run worse if it is a proper crack or it could be your system.

BTW I sometimes use cracked games to see if it is any good or if i can even run it, but please don't use it very often because developers put hundreds of hours making the game and we should at least support them financially.
