Hi, guys, I'm building a  computer for a friend around $1500. It's pretty much going to be only for gaming and internet. This is the build that I put together. Suggestions?BTW please don't change ram, he really wants that kit.

Well, if it's only for gaming and internet, no streaming gameplay or video encoding, it may be wise to consider Intel. And I'd be concerned with only 450w for a PSU with a GTX 1080. SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 550 Gold would be a nice alternative, and it's on sale (MIR).

beside markup, press [BB] or 'T', then copy+paste it into the post.

skip the 212 evo since you're not overclocking, and the B3 has issues with overpower protection.

Okay, it's got a mail-in rebate on the US site, the CA version doesn't. I played around a bit with your parts list just to give a Coffee Lake alternative just to see a price comparison.

In my opinion, if he decides to stay with Ryzen, his board was a better choice. That ASRock board's falling further and further behind in my own personal list of recommended boards. I tend to recommend Intel for "strictly gaming" builds.

Use the stock cooler, switch the motherboard, SSD, and PSU.
