Still can't get My ram speed on ryzen to 3200 or even 3000.

I have a MSi b350 tomahawk and g.skill rip jawz 3200 16 ram. What tweaks can I make to get this ram to full speed. I have the latest bios update but still to this day can't get my ram to 3200. Currently at 2800 14 or 15 latency

This is your issue, this motherboard is low end and never meant for serious memory overclocking.

I can have more control over my ram with this b350 then most what should I try and change to get the most out if it.

Next time buy Asus not MSi, MSi is just gaming marketing with no real quality to back it up, you're living proof of it.

Had experience with the MSI B350 PC Mate and a Ryzen 5 1600. These motherboards are pretty weak on top of imo pretty terrible memory controller on the CPUs themselves (given how much they benefit from faster RAM) and it was impossible for me to get Corsair 16GB 3200Mhz kit to run 100% stable even @2933Mhz with no overclock to the CPU whatsoever...

Honestly, I just bought an Asus Z270-A when I was building my PC. I didn't need anything crazy in terms of overclocks, but it holds a stable 5GHz on my 7700k and holds my ram at 3000MHz. Just stay away from MSI, that's the only change you can and should make.

I may just get one Idk. 2800 should not be that bad. I also have an asrock B350 at home but that preformed worse at lanch

2933mhz is where you should be at to break the infinity fabric limitations, can you find your exact model for the ram? Hynix powered chips are known to function a bit more poor on Ryzen as well.

have you got xmp or similar d.o.c.p or a-xmp.
I had this problem my ram was running at 2166 and I finally managed to get it to 2933

I set xmp 2.0 on my asrock board (x370) and adjusted the DRAM voltage slightly from 1.35v to 1.4v
