Get better mobo.

The Killer SLI/ac is a gamble and still not very suitable for R7 1800X.

Asus Strix X370-F would be my choice

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

would this work?

Yes, but there is no reason to go with the 1800X when you can just overclock the 1700/X and save money. You could even go with the 6 core R5 and a B350 board depending on what you are doing with the pc.

If this is for gaming I would drop one of the 1080 ti's and get a 27" 1440p/165Hz monitor. Also change it to a better version such as an Asus Strix or MSI Gaming X etc.

  1. Please don't get the 1080ti blower card. Zotac (and other companies) make so many other nicer graphics cards that should cool better and look better.
  2. Might wanna upgrade that PSU
  3. You sure you want to spend that much on lighting?
  4. Wireless adapter might be a bit feeble. Try for a PCIE card, or at least something that supports 802.11ac
  5. GET AN SSD!!!!
  6. Are you sure you want to get an H100i with just a ryzen 1600?

Overall, performance should be pretty good at both 4k gaming and 3d modelling (gaming might be a problem, depending on game and settings), but there are lots of ways to improve it.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

It would be better then to go with a 2TB ssd. But if budget doesn't allow, it doesn't.

I suspect you will find that an i7-8700K will do a much better job given the described workload.

The motherboard supports Aura Sync so using a compatible case, gpu, and memory eliminates the need for external controllers. CoolerMaster also makes Aura Sync compatible fans, if you really see a need for more bling.

what kind of porn collection do you have that needs 10TB of storage? MSI isn't very good on am4 motherboards, don't get a blower style gpu, pci-e wireless adaptor, get an ssd and faster ram.

Maybe get the S340 Elite for that tempered glass?

Or get the Fractal Meshify C for better airflow?

I'd drop the pricey RGB 2400 for DDR3000,

Maybe get the Asus b350 Strix?

Don't really like the keyboard and mouse, but if thats what you want... .

I would agree with you in 99 percent of situations but he obviously wants a white themed build which would be hard to get for the same price. His gp shouldnt be blower tho and he should sitll get and ssd

but will this work together good and be somewhat easy to put together?

Consider the i6-8600K more power but can be fit into the same budget.

When spending $2,400 on a system it makes little sense to cheap out on the single component that significantly affects the performance and longevity of all the electronics. The psu.
