How do you have that little bar above the task bar? I must have one.

It's called Nexus Dock

You can choose between different styles in the settings

Mine is called Osx or something

I never minimize anything so there is no reason for me to have anything on my desktop. If I want something it is either pinned to the taskbar or i will just search for the thing with the win key.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

Mine's pretty much empty too, think I'll make those folders invisible to finish it off :P :

There are nearly 4500 pictures in my wallpaper folder, I don't remember where I got most of them.

Just relax.

I have ~120 icons on my two monitors (main one has about 80 of them), you can live with it.

Also, how much time are you going to spend looking at the deskop vs looking at apps.

May I ask why you have Internet Explorer on your desktop?

Had to install it.

 

At least now it looks slightly better. Lots of stuff on my taskbar, as usual.

Can you at least make subfolders on the desktop? this hurts... at least you are not my friend that has their downloads go to the desktop and he never organizes it...
