Games that I can play on my MacBook Pro?...

I didn't get my 2016 MacBook Pro for gaming, but it would be great to know what games I can play on it, either in MacOS, or by booting into Windows 10.  All my MacBook Pro has is an i5 with Intel Iris Graphics 540, and 8 gigs of ram.  (I'm not interested in purchasing an external GPU.)

I have tried looking up games in the Steam store by hardware requirements, but I don't think you can.

While I have a desktop for demanding gaming, the games that I find I can play on my 2015 Macbook pro are stuff like Pyre, Night in the Woods, Transistor, Hotline Miami, etc. Older stuff like Half life 2 will run as well. Things like these will definitely run well on a 2016 model.

Few days ago played poly bridge on my 2017 13 inch.

Man the thermal throttling i got...

On low settings, windowed mode I think you should be fine though.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

  • 3 weeks later...

What mouse should I use?  Using the Thunderbolt 3 to USB adapter, I used a Logitech mouse that I love, and it seemed like most of the keyboard would not work.  And I know how to get into the mouse settings.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I thought firewatch required a GPU, though?
