IPS because no burn in and maybe higher res

 

is that all you look for in a phone? check specs and reviews and whatever too.

Probably LG, OnePlus hasn't been the best in the past with color accuracy (though OP3 sRGB mode was ok) and pentile 1080p on 5.5" is too little ppi. Plus dat 2:1 goodnes...

I find my OP2 to be quite accurate. Either way I would go with the LG one

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

It is possible though that they improved it since then. I do recall seeing a software update a while back that made colors look less washed out on mine.

 

Still I don't think they're that accurate though, I've seen some Samsung phones and colors look more saturated than mine.

I have a LG G4. It served me really good for a year until bootloop appeared. Now i'm using a old phone without camera or whatever until it gets fixed. Had to pay 80 euros (because whole motherboard needs to be replaced) and i'm waiting for it to get fixed for around 1.5 month. 

The whole G4 subreddit is filled with those posts.

 

I don't want to scare you, but you should really look if G6 have that issue

OnePlus was really just a one hit wonder personally, LG G6 basically craps all over the plus 5.

AFAIK there's not a significant amount of reports of bootlooping G6's so far, but I'd wait until the G7 (without a significant amount of G6 bootloops) before buying an LG flagship.

Except in the snap 821 vs 835. Also region locked features.

True, but Pocketnow praises that phone speakers and headphone jack power so much, an audiophile will love that phone or anyone who likes to watch movies/series on his/her phone consistently :D.

 

I heard its software was also lightweight and speedy, and it has a QHD OLED display for its low price which is nice too.

LG G6 Plus is already out with quad dac and some other features the original didn't have. Essentially all the regionlocked features in one.

 

IMHO I'd wait a bit and see what the LG V30 brings to the table august 31st.

(And the LG Q8 which is a waterproof V20)

That snapdragon chip packs more graphics power than a PS3 and an Xbox 360 (that will probably never be utilized) coupled with the same amount of RAM as many laptops (albeit budget) come with, and a QHD display to match with a reasonable price tag. What more do ya want? :P

 

Actually, an espresso machine integrated into a phone sounds a very appealing idea...
