WHY DOES THE RAZER NAGA HEX V2 HAVE 7 BUTTONS

razer-naga-hex-3.jpg.d7cf98520802f1aa089aad12d195be25.jpgThe original Razer naga hex mouse was called that because it had 6 buttons as that is what the prefix hexa- or hex- means.

but something that has been bothering me for quite some time is the naga 'hex' v2 in which has 7 buttons

This makes no sense as there is nothing related to 6 in the Naga "HEX" v2

so please if anyone knows the reasoning for this and if they know about something else like this please talk about it freely

With a company that has three snakes joined on the lower half which forms the numbers 6 6 6 why would you think they have the HEX, first with 6 buttons and now with 7, it is symbology they try to make the name reflect what they feel the customer will see but it is really something else. Now marketing should have seen that the HEX should be six buttons and not seven.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

but 6.9 is nearly 7 and the others are 16's and that would make it called the Naga hexadec or decahex

Hex could also mean curse. Medusa cursed people into stone and had snakes for hair. Razer has snakes as a logo.

I don't see how this warrants anything beyond a status update.
