What to do with my old graphics card?

Hello,

I was wondering what to do with my old graphics card. It is quite an old card, ati Radeon x1300 with the DMS59 connection. I wasn't sure what this kind of card would be used for by todays standards, so what should I do with it?

A card that old would fetch 10$ish U.S. on eBay maybe. You could put it on a shelf to look cool. You could use it as part of a retro gaming pc or some kind of server. Perhaps you could find a creative use for the passive cooler and scrap the rest. Not sure.

What games would run using this card?

Stuff from the mid 2000s, so stuff like far cry and doom 3

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Sell it on eBay because there's basically no use for it.

If it has no use, why would anyone buy it?

I'd store somewhere safe, and hope that it becomes rare in the future so you can sell it for a good price

I've had it for over a decade now, how much more valuable can it become?

I don't really know much about old gpus, but if it still working, you put somewhere so that it won't be damaged, and the card becomes rare, it can get very valuable, for now you probably won't get much

Take off GPU core, drill hole and make a key chain.

There's no point in keeping it really. It won't become rare or desirable.
