Posted November 28, 2013 Author A litecoin mining machine isn't something you see every day, so I can't wait to see some pictures. Something I have to ask though, are you sure that is 0.08 cents per KW/h and not 8 cents? That just seems excessively cheap. Is how that how I wrote it? If so, that is wrong It's 0.8 cents per KW/h

Posted November 28, 2013 Author so how many gigahash is this machine then? Well, Litecoins are in terms of killahash's. So, this machine will get about 2500KH/S, or 2.5GH/S in Bitcoin speak. Posted November 28, 2013 Author I have looked into that market so much lateley. But the market is changing so fast. maybe mining is inefficient in 1 month from now. I view it as a chance to pay off the cost of my hardware. I'll try to add a 2nd card later, pay that off, get a new PSU, pay that off. Until mining get's inefficient because of electricity cost. (at least for me) In the end you maybe didn't make any moiney but you have a big pile of hardware that's pricy. Eventually, I will try to switch over to something like Feather Coins or something else. But, that's only if LTC becomes inefficient.
 Posted November 29, 2013 Author I went on a calculator and it says you will be earning $34.81 a month mining bitcoins? with 2.5 gigahash That's because Bitcoin is a lot harder to mine. Like I said, this is for Litecoin, so use the correct calculators. http://imgur.com/AMVriwx
 Posted November 29, 2013 Author Why only 4gb of ram Cause, that's all that is needed. A mining rig doesn't need much ram. Just GPU power

Posted November 30, 2013 So how is the temperature on the GPUs? It seems like having all those cards so close together can't be that good cooling wise.
