So Acer says that they've made the first touchscreen Chromebook. Too bad the Chromebook Pixel had one too.

My school issued Chromebook has an 11 inch, and I can change the resolution to 1536x864. I hate it though.

If you're someone that literally just uses his browser, then a chromebook makes perfect sense.

 

And you can't really expect a 1080p display on a 300 dollar laptop can you?

 

Chromebooks make sense and they sell, just not to anyone that needs expanded functionality like us.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

It does but there's a limit which depends on the size of the screen, I can have 2 word documents side by side on my 23.6" 1080p monitor but would you be able to do that on a 5" phone with the same resolution? I doubt it.

At what screen size though? DPI is much more important than resolution. A 24" 1080p Display is going to look much better than an 80" 4k display.
