so next month (a month from this 17th) is my 6th month with my girl. im not sure what to get her. i used to just get my ex necklaces,

she like harry potter a lot so there's that,

Since the 6 month mark i'm guessing you're a teen?

Sex thing would be good... But not only that, give her something she can show off to, she'll probably like that.

Get her something she likes but isn't a cliche. That way you show to her that you do know her.
Also, in advance, try to remember (or write down) when she says something like "oh i would like to get that some day". Get it when it's cheaper and wait for a moment to gift. Always helps.

More normal than asking strangers what to gift someone you should know by now what their interests are to choose an appropriate gift.

 

Asking strangers on the internet is the last thing you do when shopping for a significant other. Been with the same woman for 5 years and I always gift appropriately based off her hobbies and what may be needed at the time. We're talking build a bear cute stuff up to my "old" Skylake build to replace her failing system.

Have you considered something along the lines of a weekend getaway with you? Does she have any hobbies that you know of? I'd put some handcraft to work here, perhaps with a hand-crafted jewelry box with her name or "title" etched or burned into the plastic/metal or wood.
