Can I use baby wipes to remove thermal paste?

Is it possible to use baby wipes to remove old thermal paste so I can add apply new thermal paste?

I mean you can use toilet paper if you really want its just going to be harder. So yes but inadvisable really just get coffee filters.

Maybe? Honestly I think you're better off going to your local drug store to get some isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel. It will cost you $2, and you'll definitely be safe.

Coffee filters aren't really necessary. You can use just about any paper to remove the thermal paste, just make sure you pair it with rubbing alcohol to soften it.

You could even use a small clean piece of an dirty daiper...

i personaly like to use medical gassoline and paper towels, works great for me and now that i have run out of medical gassoline im using more or less pure methanol which seems to work about as good

@JoostinOnline Ok thank you. I will use alcohol. I am just curious but would using a wet paper towel or just a paper towel on its own harm anything.

A wet paper towel could cause water damage.  You use 90%+ rubbing alcohol to prevent that.  A dry paper towel could work, but it's harder to get the microscopic bits of old thermal paste off without alcohol to soften it.
