seeing as i have started to see 980TIs going for $250 or less there is a pretty decent chance to get a 980TI in there

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Thats good but I don't think he needs that much ram where the extra money could be used for a better gpu

try to secure a GPU first, if you have enough money left get 16 gb ram.

just activly look for 980TIs, 1080s, 1070s and 980s and get one of them for a decent price. you could also try looking for a used R9 Fury seeing as they used to go for $200 but the mining craze has striped the planed of AMD silicon lol

That's not how it works.

Are you telling me a 1030 is worse than the 980Ti?
