What phone to get?

I am in a sticky situation. I currently have an LG G5 that doesnt work properly for some reason, and i am trying to upgrade it through my carrier, but i cant decide which one i want to get. I am stuck between the Galaxy S8, LG G6, and the iPhone 7. Any and all opinions on these phones and what i should do are welcome

iPhone 7 Plus*, S8 or S8 Plus, or a Sony Xperia XZ (960fps slo mo! 23MP DSLR quality camera, beautiful screen, sleek design, integration with PS4, fastest autofocus, etc.)

 

I got a 6 Plus a bit ago, and love the 7, but I can never go back to a smaller screen.

Why avoid LG, I have an LG G5, and absolutely love it, except the fact that i have one with manufacturer defects, that they wont warranty because i dropped it awhile back and cracked the screen.

I know, but it's as close as you can get. My brother has a Z1s, and it takes the best photos and video I've ever seen on a phone. And the XZ is their newest flagship model. And the 1080p screen doesn't matter. My iPhone 6 Plus 5.5" screen has a 1080p screen at 401ppi. And they have a phone with a 4K screen if you want that.

Android. Should be nice and fast too. And I think they're water resistant/proof, but you can just check on their website.

Oh, and I forgot to say the iPhone 7 Plus can do 2x optical zoom (Doesn't sacrifice any picture quality), and can do a portrait mod, where it blurs the background and keeps the subject in focus. It's quite a nice effect.

LG phones are not soldered properly so after a while they began to continue rebooting forever because they can't find a certain component.

Xperias claim to have good battery life, the iPhone 7 Plus is about as good as you can get on an iPhone, and the S8 should be a great performer as well. When you're talking about flagship phones, it's pretty hard to get a terrible one.

How do you know that and why wait for the 5 when the 4 comes this year?

 

 

I got the 3T just a couple weeks ago because my G4 Bootlooped aswell lol. So yeah, I'd avoid LG aswell even though their phones are quite sexy. (expect G5, that looked like shit)

i phone 7 has one of the worst battery life, get the 7 plus( i have an i phone 7plus and a 6p).

yea, i love android for personal use but IOS is better for work especially with iMessage and excellent battery life( 7plus has monstrous endurance). if OP can put up with IOS and headphone jack 7 plus is one of the best phones out right now.

Put it this way, i have snapchat and spotify open like 24 hours a day. I have bluetooth headphones, but i dont use them, i currently use apple earpods with a 3.5 jack for my music listening, so i cary them with me all of the time, what more is a tiny dongle? and hell, depending on how they compare to earpods with the 3.5, i might even use the lighting earpods, if i get that one

5 comes this year... launching early june is what the rumors say

 

they pulled a Microsoft / Samsung / literally every other company and skipped a number.
