Good Headphones? (Price doesn't Matter)

My headphones just got entirely destroyed, and I was wondering if you guys could recommend a good brand or specific model of headphones that I should purchase?

i dont know what you prioritize in your headphone but i care about comfort above all else.

 

Bose is my #1 pick over how insanely comfortable they are, just cant beat them.

If price does not matter, go for the Sennheiser Orpheus at the low price of $55,000. Pick a price range and tell us what you use them for and what you listen to for us to be able to help you.

Sennheiser, Bose, and Audio Technica are a view good brands to look into. You might want to look into more specific options for each brand depending on your sound preferences.

Yup, Bose are the comfiest. And the Bose Soundtrue Over ear are reasonably priced between $100 and $200. 

 

Another alternative would be the Sony h.ear around $100 as well. They're also supremely comfortable and portable. 

 

Don't go above $200. 

 

Both of these headphones sound decent with forgiving treble. Don't get anything too high end if you plan on getting portable headphones. It's kinda pointless because the ambient noise around you will drown off the fine details of the music. You also want something with relaxed treble and boosted bass because you're going to push the volume louder and bass always gets masked by ambient noise first. 

 

If you just want headphones but still want good sound and decent comfort then just get the JBL S300 under $50. They used to be $100. They're comparable to the Beats Solo for a fraction of the price. They're on-ear though. 

 

If you plan on using headphones at your desk exclusively then it's a different story. The world of open-back headphones is an expensive obsession. Ignorance is bliss with headphones.
