ANOTHER COMPUTER BUILDOFF - but more challenge

LienusLateTips

You have to build a computer within $400 CAD. Thats sounds easy, but this is CAD. I can barely get a A8 system in there.

Will only be judged on price to performance and the power supply. NO SKIMPING ON POWER SUPPLIES.

do youi have to use new parts?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Should we include HDD in this build?

HDD or SSD, don't really care about storage as long as it does not bottleneck. So as a cheat, you could just include a 30G SSD.

Thread moved to General Discussion.

Just so we're clear, the New Builds and Planning sub-forum is not for posting "build-offs" or whatever. This is a sub-forum for actual builds that you are trying to make a reality, or plans on doing something.
