Just when I thought the internet in my country was shit but our speeds aren't even that slow any more. Only took about 100 years for the only (at the time) to get their shit together  now that there's another ISP (They keep buying out all their competitors and this last one refuses to sell)

Has there been any local feedback about the performance of MyRepublic? They seem too offer a really good service.

I don't know really, apparently you can register for 1GBPS in your suburb, since they're going to buy that much bandwidth from the NBN.

(must be FTTP)

From my interpretation they are going to supply there own cabling to houses within the town just like that company in New Zealand that had a similar competition.

It took about a year after the competition for MyRepublic to start offering 1Gbps plans outside of the winning GigaTown, which isn't a big wait. I'd advise getting in early as they are a great ISP and treat early customers extremely well.

My suburb apparently isn't gonna get FTTP but I would love it of myrepublic came to my suburb with Gigaspeed.

but their 100/40 plans are L-I-T

If ur special and in the US and in certain areas, you can get 2000/2000 on AT&T for like 130$ or 170$ something like that. with no data caps. But its only available in like San Antonio Tx, or some shit.

Oh that's really awesome. Though I'd rather have what I have just because it's cheaper and just as good :D. 1000/500 for US$13/month :D

You would probably have to move though xD... It's in Romania and it's quite spread out in most if not all cities of Romania. The ISP is RCS-RDS. ^~^
