Chrome now asks for password to access your saved passwords.

It's in the title. Previous to this you could access the saved passwords on your browser settings without any confirmation you where who you should be. Now this has been fixed. I am quite happy about this but there is no one I know who would be able to do this as they know nothing much about computing. But for many this is probably a godsend.

Good, it used to save passwords unencrypted for anyone to read if they opened your browser and went into the settings, stores them even if you tell them not too.

chrome or probable Finder is asking you to write your login / administration password for you to be able to watch your saved passwords

Take note though, the feature is only available for Mac OS X at the moment, but a Windows version should be available in the newer Google Chrome builds.

 

Mac users must have been complaining more than Windows ones. About time tbh.

I don't even keep my stuff logged in. I got a 22 character Google password that I type in every time I open Chrome.

Yay! Now all those people can stop complaining. It's now an even safer browser than the rest, you need to both be logged in and know the password.
