How many RPM do you run your fan(s) at?

Matias_Chambers

CPU fan is at 500 rpm and GPU fans are around 1350 at idle but GPU can get over 2000 when it gets toasty.

I have four fans though I have 2 hooked up to a fan hub which i use speedfan to control. the next fan is the CPU fan, and the last is the radiator fan for my GPU (the blower fan is also present to cool the VRMs and what-not). I only push the radiator fan to around 1200-1300rpm

the one fan in my MBP turns 2k RPM at idle, and will ramp up to 6200RPM at 88C.

back when I have a gaming computer, the intake and exhaust fans ran at 1200RPM, and the CPU fan ran at about 1k, and the GPU fans turned on at 60C.

0 RPM when I'm not gaming keeping my temperatures below 50°C (no watercooling either, it's completely scilent).

Under load the CPU fans run anywhere between 0 and 700RPM and my GPU fans run anywhere between 0 and 1000RPM keeping the CPU and GPU temps under 70°C while overclocked.

On my desktop I have a custom fan curve. At low it is around 600, but it will adjust with CPU temp.

Have my 4 AP182s at around 1000RPM mostly. Cranked to 2000RPM for bench sessions. Will go down to 500RPM but i don't usually bother since airflow is nice.

Keeps the big rad cool too.

Front 120s at around 1400RPM (SP120L off an old H80i)

Rear 140 at around 1100RPM (AF140)
