There you have it a 1080p Extreme HD Open GL run in Linux.
Everything is stock besides the CPU.

GPU 1045mhz(Core) 1754mhz(Memory)
CPU i7 4770k 4.4Ghz

Updated drivers, thought I should update my score too.

 

CPU: 4670K @ 4600

GPU: 280X @ 1200/1750

FPS: 52.4

Score: 2194

Setting: Extreme HD

 

I'm actually surprised that my score didn't drop after updating to beta drivers. LOL. Not something I would expect from AMD.

we don't know from here as not many people run trifire. i'll look around. triple 7970's@11301342e/1600 with a 3930k get 5704

Maybe its my 8350.

disable crossfire and bench with 1 card, then 2, the do 3 way that will tell if its the cpu bottlenecking or not.

also the 3rd pcie slot is x4 pcie, 2.0 that might be a thing, because that is only like pcie 2x 3.0

That really sucks man I guess that's why I have like all those power phases to get the extra voltage

 

I monitored the voltage and no matter what I set in MSI AB the cards put out 1.275mV. Sometimes it spikes to 1.300 but mainly just sits there. I might try the DD BE bios and see if that makes a change.

 

This is the load when I ran valley again.

 

GPU 1 : 97%

 

GPU 2 : 64%

 

GPU 3 : 63%

 

Try two cards then try switching the cards around. I can borrow another 280X to see if I get the same type of scaling.

 

Your 1st and 3rd BLUE slots are x16 while your 2nd is x16 physically but only x8 electically. Use those x16 slots if your 2 card testing.

you were indeed at lower clocks as well. i have see improvement in recent drivers so you might as well if you haven't run it for a while.

I can't , my crossfire bridge can't reach the cards when its in 2-way X16 , X16

You can find longer crossfire bridges but you will have to see how long you need the bridge to be then see if you can find one from a mobo or gpu vendor.

I would have to order one.

 

Motherboard only came with SLI bridges and Gpu's came with none.

Found out my second GPU is bad. It gets black and grey vertical lines and started causing my computer to crash when I played BF4. It also crashed while watching Youtube and once at the desktop. 

 

And this is the card that I havent really overclocked. It requires more voltage between 1125 and 1150mhz but I can't seem to control the voltage of either card and they stick at 1.275mV. So even the benchmarks I ran at 1150mhz isnt all there for performance due to that 2nd GPU starving for voltage.
