Gonna be benching Valley on Kubuntu soon, I was challenged to use it for a week instead of Windows so I though I would share my results in the next few days.

Problem is, I run 3dmark with the current setting I did to achieve this score and it locks up during the physics portion of the test.

My card is odd.

From 1000Mhz to 1175 on stock voltage. 1.250mV to run at 1180 and even with 1.300mV it wont complete a pass at 1185.

1180/1550.

Messing with memory.

1180mhz on core at 1.250mV and memory at 1600 at 1.575mV (it failed at 1625)

Had to save picture as jpeg due to screenshot being over 2MB for upload.

This is it for me today might pick it back up tomorrow might go for some more CPU OC, I really think that I am really close to the end of this 7970's limits I am for sure closing in on the end of its overclocking range. Looking forward to seeing what else I can push

Did some bios mod and increased the power limit to 25% and it bought me a few points and 15mhz. But it's still not enough power. I'm limited to 1.300mV.

You've got to get on that bois hack that lets you do 50% more power limit as well as a max of 1.4volts

Can't find a way to add more then 1.3mV to my cards. I tried modding my bios and even using a bios off of the R9 280X version of your card with GPU Tweak and it still locks me from going more then 1.3mV.

I did get it to let me add 25% power limit and even made one that went to 50% but that one crashed.

use this version of gpu tweak it lets you play with the voltage like your suppose to be able to, the newer version seem to limit the voltage and do weird things
